An enthusiastic group of golfers make up the Adeje International Golf Club,  (Adeje is pronounced Adecky ) . The club enjoys a mixture of residents, ( mainly British ex- pats), & those who live here only in the winter months, known affectionally as “Swallows”. There is a good mixture of low & high handicappers.
The 27 hole Adeje Golf Course is situated in the sunny south of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, and since its opening  has hosted several major tournaments including the Mens & Ladies Spanish Opens.Due to the temperate climate in the Canaries, we enjoy playing all year round, & usually in shorts & short sleeve shirts. This beautiful, and sometimes demanding course, has greens bordering on the verge of volcanic cliff tops, with fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean & the neighbouring island of La Gomera. Mount Teide, (rhymes with lady), the tallest mountain in Spain and a long dormant volcano & her sister mountains are set in the background of the course.

The Clubhouse is modern in design with a large outside terrace and indoor bar & dining area offering a superb selection of French, Caribbean & Mediterranean cuisine, full shower & changing facilities, a Pro shop, club hire , electric buggies and of course an excellent Practice Range, with chipping & putting greens. Practice nets are also available close to the 1st tee. We welcome new members whether you are already resident, visiting for a few months or are moving to Tenerife. Drop in to see us on Club day, Tuesdays & Saturdays, or contact Mike Setch or Keith Norman for more information. For residents without a handicap , this can be awarded with the CONGU system , and visitors will require a Handicap Certificate from their home club.
